About Q-Def

Quantum technologies are becoming increasingly relevant for defence planning, capability development and future military operations.

Q-DEF provides a dedicated forum to understand how these technologies may shape defence at the strategic, operational and tactical levels.

The conference brings together policymakers, military experts, researchers, technology leaders and industry stakeholders to discuss the practical impact of quantum sensing, quantum communication and quantum computing on defence and security.

How do I get there?

By rail
The venue is located in the heart of Belval, just a short walk from Belval-Université railway station, which is served by frequent trains connecting Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette and the Greater Region.

By bus
Several RGTR and TICE bus lines serve the Belval district, with stops located within a few minutes' walk of the venue.

By road
The Maison des Arts et des Étudiants is easily accessible via the A4 motorway (Esch-sur-Alzette exit) and the Belval road network.
Several public parking facilities are available nearby, including Parking Maison du Savoir, Parking Square Mile, and Parking Belval Plaza, all within walking distance.

By taxi
